How NQC handles personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
This website collects personal information in two places. When you send an enquiry we collect your name, your organisation, your e-mail address, your telephone number and whatever you write in the message. When you look up a certificate we process the certificate number you enter.
Why we collect it
Enquiry details are used to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to certification, to administer that work. Certificate numbers are used only to return the matching certificate record.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. Information obtained during an audit is treated as confidential and is not released to a third party without your written consent, except where we are required to release it by law or to our accreditation body.
How long we keep it
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond and to meet our record keeping obligations as a certification body. Certification records are kept for the periods required by our accreditation.
Your rights
Under the Oman Personal Data Protection Law, Royal Decree 6/2022, you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and in defined circumstances ask for it to be erased. To make a request, write to us.
